            Cooperatio is a programme under which institutional support for the development of a resea

            is distributed at Charles University from 1 January 2022.

            * Structure of Cooperatio by scientific discipline

            The Cooperatio program is university-wide and structured by scientific discipline areas. T
            that all academic and research staff-as well as PhD students-who are engaged in a given fi

            University are assigned to the Cooperatio programme areas.

            * Assignment of doctoral students to individual scientific disciplines
            *=========================================================================================

            The assignment of doctoral students to the individual disciplines of the Cooperatio progra
            governed by the accreditation of the respective study programmes. Thus, learners cannot ch
            discipline to which they wish to belong, or implicitly choose a discipline by their choice

            programme. Some doctoral study programmes at our faculty are accredited in several discipl
            only one.

            * Duties of doctoral students

            The inclusion of students in the Cooperatio programme implies, in particular, the obligati
            scientific/publication activities (in relation to the individual study plan and other form

            of the study) primarily in the field to which the student is assigned within the Cooperati

            * Change of disciplinary affiliation
            *=========================================================================================

            A change of field of affiliation is possible in justified cases. However, the change can o
            within the disciplines belonging to each student's specific programme of study.


            Students should contact their supervisor to request a change in your affiliation. If the s
            he/she will forward the request for a change of subject affiliation to the supervisor of t
            student's programme of study.

            * Support for scientific research activities
            *=========================================================================================
            Students apply for financial support for scientific research activities within the Coopera

            Council to which they belong.

            In the case of affiliation to two disciplines, learners are guided by which of the two dis

            results they intend to deliver from the support belong to. It is certainly not possible to
            application to two Cooperatio disciplinary groups at the same time.


            Support for the scientific research activities of FHS UK PhD students is implemented throu
            of the Cooperatio programme:
            • Strategic Priorities of Cooperatio FHS UK,

            • Cooperatio Disciplinary Groups (clustered around FHS UK departments).
