MECU – Medieval Heritage in Current Narratives

            MECU [ URL "https://mecu.hi.is/"] is a European network of four universities funded by the
            (KA220-HED-000467270) for the years 2026–2028.


            The goal of the project is to strengthen civic and intercultural competencies by promoting
            heritage literacy. To this end, MECU is developing educational formats that link medieval 
            development of civic competencies and promote media literacy and resilience to the manipul

            medieval past in public discourse.


            Program: As part of the MECU project, a Train-the-Trainer workshop will be held, along wit
            schools for students from the participating universities (2027 Reykjavík, 2028 Prague, 202
