ORCID

  • Free and unique persistent identifier; it distinguishes you from other researchers, linking to a profile you control and populate with information defining who you are, as well as your research, publications, affiliations, awards, and grants

  • It allows linking to other scientific identifiers, namely ResearcherID and Scopus ID

  • After creating an ORCID ID, authors should enter their identifier in the designated IS Věda interface

  • Academic staff are obliged to indicate their affiliation to FHS UK in the following wording when creating an identifier: Charles University, Faculty of Humanities

ResearcherID

  • A unique identifier that differentiates researchers in the Web of Science

  • It helps ensure proper attribution of research and tracks citation metrics

  • It is created automatically and can be linked to the ORCID

Scopus ID

  • A unique identifier assigned by the Scopus database to an author

  • Allows you to track your publications and citation metrics, link to co-authors and collaborators

  • It is created automatically and can be linked to the ORCID
