The Cooperatio program is university-wide and structured by scientific discipline areas. This means that all academic and research staff-as well as PhD students-who are engaged in a given field across the University are assigned to the Cooperatio programme areas.
The assignment of doctoral students to the individual disciplines of the Cooperatio programme is primarily governed by the accreditation of the respective study programmes. Thus, learners cannot choose any discipline to which they wish to belong, or implicitly choose a discipline by their choice of doctoral programme. Some doctoral study programmes at our faculty are accredited in several disciplines, some in just one.
The inclusion of students in the Cooperatio programme implies, in particular, the obligation to develop scientific/publication activities (in relation to the individual study plan and other formal requirements of the study) primarily in the field to which the student is assigned within the Cooperatio.
A change of field of affiliation is possible in justified cases. However, the change can only be made within the disciplines belonging to each student's specific programme of study.
Students should contact their supervisor to request a change in your affiliation. If the supervisor agrees, he/she will forward the request for a change of subject affiliation to the supervisor of the particular student's programme of study.
